Cherrybrook Leo Club Movie Night: Supporting Lisa Harnum Foundation

Upcoming Movie Night – The Emperor’s New Groove

On Saturday the 30th March, the Cherrybrook Leo Club will be hosting their annual Open-Air Movie Night at Thornleigh Oval.

As a family-friendly event, this year’s screening will be the Disney hit, ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’.

Time: The screening will run from 8:00 – 9:30 pm, however, everyone is encouraged to come along by 7:30 pm.

This is the third consecutive year that the Cherrybrook Leos have run this event

The club members are a passionate group of young leaders aged 18 to 25 who have contributed to many community and charity initiatives with support from the Lions Club of West Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook. Causes that the young club has supported include The Starlight Children’s Foundation, The Black Dog Institute, NAIDOC Week and Inala, just to name a few.

Their goal is to encourage youth leadership, experience and opportunity in service of the community and to inspire meaningful change.

All proceeds from this year’s Movie Night will go towards the Lisa Harnum Foundation; supporting families affected by domestic violence and striving to stop the cycle of abuse with acts of education, social service and change.

The foundation’s mission statement is to eradicate domestic violence ‘for everyone by everyone’.

The Cherrybrook Leos are honoured to support and spread awareness about such an important cause and would love your help to do so!
